Yesterday hc1.com was thrilled to receive the official announcement from the TechPoint Foundation, a foundation specifically created to honor and help tech in Indiana, that hc1.com is once again nominated for 2 Mira awards: "Health Tech" and "Emerging Tech Company of the Year".
According to TechPoint, the organization "received a record-breaking 170 applications, which is a 40 percent increase in applications over just last year, and nearly half of the applications this year came from first-time companies, schools, organizations and individuals who had never before entered the Mira Awards," explains Mike Langellier, president and CEO of TechPoint. He also states that the dramatic increase is another positive indicator of the strength and momentum of Indiana's tech sector.
Winners will be announced at a "Gatsby-themed," black-tie awards ceremony and gala featuring an interactive dinner, live music and an after party on Saturday, May 3, at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis."
Last year in addition to the Mira award for Health Tech, hc1.com was honored to be selected as a 2013 Top 100 Global Red Herring winner.
