On Thursday, April 18 and Friday April 19, the RBMA's Northeast Chapter met at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania for their annual Spring Educational Meeting. The meeting was well atttended by many leaders from Radiology practices across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and other New England states. The panel discussions, speakers, legislative updates and predictions of the future of radiology were all well received.
Tom Arena, Chief Product Officer from hc1.com spoke about radiology practices and their need to gain access to actionable intelligence in their practices. Every radiology practice needs to have real-time intelligence at their fingertips to understand their utilization rates of their equipment and their radiologists and Tom spoke to how hc1.com is used to accomplish that goal. Tom also referenced a situation where hc1.com can marry up data locked away in payroll records to show what hours radiologists worked on specific days and how productive they were on the days they worked.
Tom communicated to conference attendees that hc1.com is the ultimate healthcare CRM and provides users in the radiology space to enjoy a competitive advantage by having access to actionable intelligence from a variety of sources including a RIS system, general ledger, payroll, billing or other disparate data system. As a rules and alerts based system, Tom was able to show how hc1.com's tracking software can dashboard real time intelligence of critical alerts that need to be reported, outstanding studies that have not been completed and so much more.
As a result of the speech Tom gave on hc1's radiology tracking software, serveral radiology practice leaders engaged Tom in further discussion about the capabilities of hc1's radiology management software and expressed interest in demo'ing hc1.com for their own management teams. Suffice it to say, the conference was outstanding and I am personally looking forward to attending the 2013 Radiology Summit, May 19-22 at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs Colorado.
