Today, hc1 announced the appointment of Mike Alessandro as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Alessandro joins hc1 after a tenure at WebEquity, where he was the Executive Vice President. Before that, he spent 14 years at IBM leading business analytics sales for the Western United States.
"Healthcare is a complex industry and Mike has experience growing sales in similar environments," said Brad Bostic, chairman and CEO of hc1.com in a press release this morning. "He also understands what it takes to scale a sales organization. This experience will be very helpful to hc1.com as we continue our rapid growth."
Alessandro's appointment comes on the heels of Jeff Lautenbach, former Chief Revenue Officer of hc1, resuming his position on hc1's board of advisors.
"Jeff Lautenbach began his involvement with hc1.com as an advisor, and graciously agreed to develop and lead our sales and marketing functions on an interim basis," said Bostic. "We have found a capable successor in Mike, and we welcome Jeff back to our board of advisors."
