Last week, Techpoint and IBJ hosted the first annual CTO of the Year Awards, which honored the top men and women in Indiana who develop the IT strategies and systems that power their enterprises, serve their customers, and fuel unprecedented growth.
hc1.com is proud to announce our very own Laura Breedlove was named as a finalist for this prestigious award. As Senior Vice President of Technology at hc1, Breedlove is responsible for product and platform development, engineering, architecture, quality assurance, technical operations and IT services for the hc1 Healthcare Relationship Cloud. Breedlove was one of only two women to be nominated for this award.
“I think one of the most important things in a role for CTO is to eliminate any kind of walls between departments," Breedlove said in a press release on Wednesday. "We have a very open focus between operations, development and IT that ensures you have the continuum you need to think holistically — not just what it means on the tech side but making sure we satisfy customers.
