hc1.com is excited to announce that we have been named to the Indianapolis Star's "Top Workplaces of 2014" list. The list was compiled from the Workplace Dynamics employee survey, which asked employees from small, medium, and large companies around central Indiana about their workplace environment.
The survey included statements such as:
- "I have confidence in the leader of the company."
- "I believe this company is going in the right direction."
- My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful."
- I feel genuinely appreciated at this company."
The 2014 survey found that Indianapolis as a whole is experiencing unusual improvement in employee satisfaction. Niki Reid, a data scientist for Workplace Dynamics, says, "For me, what stood out the most was not just this year but the continued improvement over the years. I see a lot of improvement in the region over time, which was really interesting."
Michael Huber, President and CEO of the Indy Chamber of Commerce, suggests that central Indiana companies, hc1.com included, are continuing to improve in employee satisfaction because employers are beginning to understand the needs of the millennial generation and prove to their employees that they have made an investment in them.

Other survey results included employee trust in the leadership team and confidence in the direction that hc1.com is heading.
