Enhanced Lab Order Detail Functionality

With this release, weʼve added even more flexibility and functionality to our clinical Lab Order Detail feature.  Users can now have greater flexibility in clinical display fields, such as who entered the order, specimen or requisition into the LIS and see that info in hc1, as well as see audit-logging directly on the page itself.

This latest update makes it easier for users to not have to jump between hc1 and LIS when taking action and has more easy-to-use auditing capabilities when it comes to identifying who viewed clinical records in hc1.

Export User-Defined Lists (UDLs)

Save time and empower end-users! This newest update allows users from Sales, Service, Operations, Billing and other departments to self-serve on list-based extracts of data.

End-users can now export lists of Accounts, Providers, Contacts, Sales Opportunities and various activities without requesting a custom report to be built, to view and/or print for use outside the hc1 solution.

Now, permitted users can access the audit log and see who has viewed a Lab Order Detail report page, directly from the Audit & Access History log. For example, permitted users can use this feature to:

  • Download a list of current opportunities to prepare for a sales meeting
  • Export the description details of unresolved cases for further analysis
  • Pull a list of organizations to validate the hc1 data against data in other systems

The Audit Log tracks who has created and downloaded user-defined list export files.

Exported user-defined list files expire 7 days aer they are created. At that point, they disappear from the Export Lists page, for more information visit https://hc1academy.exceedlms.com/student/catalog .

We have also made various additional quality-of-life improvements based on customer feedback. Email clientsuccess@hc1.com to learn how to take advantage of these enhancements and gain even more return on your investment in your Operations Management solution.

hc1 ProviderView™: Updated Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CSM) Data

When CMS information is not up-to-date, it is difficult to ensure sales prospecting time and effort is spent with the right providers. This update ensures the most up-to-date publicly available Medical Claims (HCSPS) and Rx Claims (Prescriptions) are available within ProviderView.

hc1-provider-view-news-6302022Sales Users can make confident, informed decisions when identifying which providers would benefit most from the testing and services your lab provides.

This hc1 ProviderView release updates data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). On the Individuals dashboard, the Public Medical Claims and Public Rx Claims sections now include information from 2019. The source for this data is the latest available public Medicare Part D Prescriber data, which CMS updates annually. If you have hc1 ProviderView™ enabled, enhancements and updates are delivered automatically.
